When I finally did find my notebook and pencil they were in the trashcan that was in the garage. That night when I climbed into bed and was about to doze off I heard familiar small scampering footsteps, I slowly glanced at the edge of my bed in the pitch blackness of the night and saw the haunting glowing eyes once again, peering just over the edge of my bed, studying me as I lay there. I shut my eyes immediately and when I opened them the creature was gone.
