“Run!” I yelled; the object sounded half human, half alien. It was louder than anything I had ever heard before. I was at the base of the treeline when I looked back; stunned in disbelief. Everyone faced down on the cold hard ground. Long pieces of grass were parted upwards from their bodies; and their blood tainting the area around. A large unknown animal stared straight through me from across the red splattered field. It had the most petrifying eyes, like dark ice. It pierced right through my soul; almost as if it had attached me to the ground and would not allow me to move. Then in an instant, I was laying face down, just like the others.
A sudden crack shot me awake, and I convinced myself that it was just a dream. My feet dragged along the ground over crumbling dried leaves,

I felt the temperature drop from the tropical heat to a cold breeze in the area we were going to stop; a trickle of water running down a wall in the new area fell into the silence with an ominous manner.
Then a sudden splash of water soaked the group ahead of ours and masked an object with heavy steps that darted out.
“Garahhhaka,” the same hair-lifting tone that had massacred the field of people shrieked. The creature was hungry and had been hunting us all the way. The supporters unleash their grip on my arms as tripped over my numb feet plummeting face first into the stone ground.
“Lisa, just leave him, he can’t even see and will just be a burden.” I heard the man shout. I was about to agree with the man until I realise that he was talking about me.
“I will not leave him behind” hissed Lisa, “we have to take him ‘because’ he can’t see, now hurry up and help me.”
“This is the problem with women, you can never say no the them.” I listened to the man mutter under his breath. Behind us, I hear the creature feeding on his recent prey. The ear gouging screams and rancid smell of death surround and fill the
