“Frank’s RedHot… I put that sh*t on everything!” said Jean Hamilton. Hamilton is a 92-year-old Caucasian woman that stars in Frank’s RedHot commercial. Contrary to popular belief Frank’s RedHot did not pop up out of thin air with a little old lady commercial. The history of Frank’s RedHot dates back 1918 when pepper Farmer Adam Estilette partnered with Jacob Frank in New Iberia, Louisiana, to create a sauce. In 1964, Frank’s RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce was used as the secret ingredient for the first ever buffalo wings in Buffalo, New York, putting it on the map and starting the flavor obsession that has led to the consumer’s fascination with all things Buffalo flavor. In 2009, Frank’s RedHot met the growing needs of its consumers by launching Frank’s RedHot Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce. These new flavor profiles allowed consumers to expand their culinary creativity. In 2009, Frank’s also introduces the world to “Ethel”, an astonishing cook and mischievous avid fan of Frank’s RedHot. Ethel spreads her gospel everywhere by saying “Frank’s RedHot… I put that sh*t on everything!” Frank’s RedHot is effective in using harsh language, the negative use of technology, and elderly humor to convince older moms and cooks to recognize how derogatory today’s society is.

Frank’s RedHot commercial demonstrates how derogatory terms and offensive are somehow morally correct in today’s society, how the use of technology has an enormous impact society, and how comical today’s society is. All of these points verifies how more and more people are becoming illiterate and belligerent. Likewise, people do not actually have to interact with each other anymore.
