The reader would read it quickly, with little to no pauses. This could be from a fan of Launa Turner learning of her collapse and is freaking out about it, or it could be Mrs. Turner herself. If the speaker is Lana Turner, this shock and rushing could represent her first discovery of the tabloid. This interpretation is supported by the line "I have never actually collapsed," where heis appearing on T.V. to disprove this accusation by showing herself.
