Early life: Frank Foley was born November 24 1884 in Highbridge, United Kingdom of Great Britain. He was the third son of Isabella and Andrew Foley. Andrew Wood Foley (Frank’s father) was an engineer. After attending local schools throughout his life Frank was ready to college. He won a educational scholarship to Stonyhurst College. He also went to Royal Military College and was the second lieutenant in Hertfordshire.

Historical Background: The Holocaust was started in Germany where the Nazis tried to oppress and kill many jews. It soon spread to lots of countries around Germany including Poland, Austria, and Belgium.
