Today’s Exhausted Superkids
Imagine yourself as a seventeen year old who is athletic, smart, and an active participator in the school. Your daily schedule consists of waking up, attending any club meetings or activities scheduled for the day, going to class, heading to practice or a game, whichever is scheduled for the day, coming home to eat, and topping it all off you have to do homework. By the time you are done with everything, it's 10:00 and you are wondering where the time has gone. You get ready for bed and don't fall asleep until 11:15. You wake up and repeat everyday while trying to keep a jubilant expression on your face. In the article, “Today’s Exhausted Superkids,” by Frank Bruni, it states that teenagers are not getting enough sleep. The problem of teenagers lacking sleep can be solved by putting down the electronics and being organized.

In the article, “Today’s Exhausted Superkids” by Frank Bruni, it clearly showed how lack of sleep for teenagers is a huge problem. By showing statistical information as well as testimonies of victims who have experienced what happens when lack of sleep hits. However, the article lacked ways to stop the problem that is arising. After reading this article, I would have more discipline to stop what I'm doing at night to get some rest . To sum it up, teenagers need to be getting at least eight to ten hours of sleep to be able to stay emotionally and physically healthy.
