Professor Francois Gallichotte is, to put it lightly, a genius.
This isn't to denote a sense of superiority or mockery of others in her field--ask any one of them and they will say the same, and ask the woman herself to hear the opposite. Regardless of her beliefs, however, one doesn't earn a double major in archaeology and marine biology in the same 6 years of schooling by being anything other than an exemplary student and veritable master of their field, all at the crisp young age of 24--an age most dream of being halfway through anthropological studies alone, let alone the entire degree. An unsettling self-consciousness of her weight and downplaying of her achievements early in life left her quite the humble girl, one who, despite her clear and obvious potential for breaking great ground in the community, functions much as one in the prime of her youth could be expected to. Though wise and venerable for her age, she still enjoys settling in for a binge of shows on Netflix, hanging around comic shops and bookstores for the latest good reads (when she isn't signing books herself, at least), and, as one might expect, a good swim.
