Introduction

François Couperin born in Paris, 10 November 1668.He is born in a musically educated family. He was a French Baroque Composer, Organist, and Harpsichordist. He called himself Couperin Le Grand to let other musician to mistaken him as other Couperin Family Members.

Journey

François Couperin father Charles Couperin who plays organ at the Church of St Gervais taught his son organ but died in 1679. The unfortunate Francois Couperin became an orphan at the age of 11. His father was replaced by Michel-Richard de Lalande temporarily to hold his father position for Francois Couperin to complete his training with the royal organist Jacques Thomelin.
