She did that when she was at her position in New York State’s Commissioner of Labor. Perkins changed it that the world’s unemployment was improving. After she changed it Frances called for a press conference. She wanted to tell them that New York and everywhere else unemployment was getting worse than it already was. She wanted everyone to have a meeting. Everyone as in the governors to discuss how unemployment is not getting better. Frances Perkins was correct with dealing with the New Deal. People say she handled with it very well especially when it was during Great Depression. She took on everything bad that happened along with all the problems dealing with Great Depression.
