What makes her a good leader? Not everyone can be considered a good leader. Frances Perkins is a good leader. I am probably not the only one who can consider her that. Not only did people look up to her but she also gained respect from other leaders. Some other leaders were from the state of New York. Another one is the governor at the time Alfred Smith. What makes her a good leader is that she never gave up on her goal. She fought for what she wanted it life no matter what was thrown her away. I would say in a way it is still a problem. Only because people still do not work forty hours a week. At the same time it is not still a problem. People can get social security because of her. Women are allowed to work and mostly do what they want. If someone gets laid off from their job they are able to receive unemployment which is a good thing. People are able to make minimum wage. There is a problem with that; most people cannot live on minimum wage. At the same time if that was not a law who knows what they would be making. It could be less than
