Fracking is affecting you and everybody around you, whether you realize it or not. Fracking is the process of drilling down into the earth before a high-pressure water mixture is directed at the rock to release the gas inside. Water, sand and chemicals are injected into the rock at high pressure which allows the gas to flow out to the head. Fracking can be used to obtain fossil fuels, methane, and natural gases. Many countries like: France, Bulgaria, Germany, and Scotland have banned fracking due to it’s enviromental hazards. There were 2 children in Pennsylvania who were given a life long gagging order that kept them from talking about fracking after a settlement with an oil and gas company. People have many mixed feelings about this topic, good or bad.

Fracking is causing the natural order of the water cycle to be out of whack. There is less water on the earth, which causes there to be less water in the air. If there is no water in the air, then there can be no rain clouds. This problem can affect the whole country or possibly the world. Fracking causes exploitation of immigrant workers. Fracking is very dangerous work and the oil companies are hiring illegal immigrants to work these dangerous jobs next to nothing. They won’t pay some immigrant workers, and they threaten them with deportation. The immigrants aren’t experienced in any form of fracking or welding, and they will have them welding parts onto the machines which they have no idea how to properly use. This could be a disaster for anybody working at the time.
