Fourth Of July Research Paper

The fourth of July is a very important holiday to my family. Every year we go to my grandmas house, who lives in Ellis. We have been going out there my whole life. Everybody in our family goes and we let friends come if they want. We usually have 45-50 people at the fourth of July. Ever since I was a kid we have always went to my grandmas. When we get there my grandma usually has a red,white, and blue swimming suit picked out for us.There are always enough swimming suit, to go out for each and everyone of my 15 cousins. We usually stay in them for the whole day. Right when we get to my grandmas for the fourth the kids will get to go swimming. I can remember us kids having competitions to see who could drink the most pop in the night. A friend of the family, who's name is Chazz, would always win. I can remember one year he drank 23 pops! I usually got to 2 to 3 then I was done with them. Then for the rest of the night I would stick to water. While waiting to light off the fireworks we play games out in the grass. My grandma has a sand volleyball court that we would always have tournaments on. They usually go on for a while. When we play Volleyball everybody plays. The person who gets into the game the most is my gramps Russ. For being old he sure can move once he plays Volleyballs. After Volleyball we will go play a game called Bocce ball. Bocce ball is where you have 4 players, each player with 2 of the same color balls. Then one person has a small yellow ball that you throw a cross the yard. Then the goal is to get us close to the yellow ball. Another game we play is corn hole and bean bags. At the fourth of July i am undefeated at corn hole!
