I believe that the all four pillars of the National Honor Society are very important in today’s society. The first pillar is service, service is where students must offer their time to the school or local community with out any compensation, and that is important to our society because it shows how involved people are with the school and the community without any reward. The leadership pillar which is were one demonstrates leadership within the school community it’s key to society due to the fact that is will show people that you have self confidence and the ability to act as a role model. The third peer, character shows the high standards of students. It also distinguishes one individual person from another. It is a constant strive for students
