The four pillars of National Honors Society have greatly influenced my life in high school. It is something I will definitely carry over to my later life as a college student and as an adult.
Becoming a part of The Youth Grantmaking Council has definitely made me a stronger leader and has impacted my community service involvement. The Youth Grantmaking Council (YGC) has stressed the need of philanthropy in our community. Being involved within the community is something that I think is very keen. It has opened up my eyes to see that not everyone is as fortunate. Some may not even be able to have food on the table. One of my favorite activities we do as a council is angel tree shopping.
