Although many people loved him, his miracles, and his teachings, many of the powerful leaders did not. Jesus was persecuted by the Romans and soon after was crucified. He later came back to life which many consider the resurrection. Jesus acted as a leader, teacher, and miracle worker revealing God’s Kingdom to the world.

The miracles he performed are split up into four types: physical healings, nature miracles, exorcisms, and raisings from the dead. On of his infamous miracles is the raising of his friend Lazarus from the dead. After Jesus received a message from both of Lazarus’ sister saying that he was very ill, Jesus began his journey to help Lazarus. Upon arrival, Jesus found out that Lazarus had already been dead for four days. One of the sisters leads Jesus to Lazarus’ tomb, there he says a prayer for his friend to resurrect. Soon after, Lazarus walked out of the tomb very much alive (John 11). Another miracle is the event of Jesus multiplying food for five thousand people. A large group of men followed Jesus cross the Sea of Galilee after seeing the things he was capable of. Jesus sat them down in a meadow as one of his disciples brought him a boy who had bread and fish. He gave thanks and was able to multiply and feed the five thousand people just from the small amount the boy had given him (John 6: 1-14). These miracles were quite astonishing but the greatest miracle is God being able to live as a human through Jesus. Through Jesus’ great leadership, powerful teachings, and amazing miracles, he was able to shed light on God's Kingdom to the world. Due to his congeniality and teachings, Jesus was able to create a large following and spread the word of God. Jesus teachings provided his followers

The Gospel of John seems to display Jesus as a very powerful and persuasive person. Right from the beginning, in (John 1.1-4), Jesus has been described as though he was God. The gospel starts with the lines, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” The detailed descriptions of the signs also promote the idea of Jesus’s greatness.…

The first miracle at the wedding of Cana announced to the world that he had the power of God. This attracted people to him so that he could start teaching God’s word. The next event in Jesus’ path of public ministry was the Transfiguration, “whereby God the Father spoke directly to the Apostles instructing them to head Christ’s words.” (page 107). The last event happened at the Last Supper when Christ commanded his disciples to eat his flesh and drink his blood and started the practice of communion in the…

The divinity of Jesus is seen through his miracles, like the feeding of the large crowd with only five loafs of bread and two fish or the healing of the epileptic child. These miracles show the divine power that Jesus has because no normal human could walk on water or heal illnesses that were thought to be incurable. However, the foremost example of Jesus’ divinity is seen at his Transfiguration on top of the mountain. Here, Jesus is transfigured in front of Moses and the prophet Elijah while a voice from heaven says, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him” (Mt 17:5). The Transfiguration of Jesus is the primary example of Christ’s divinity.…

This story of the resurrection of Jesus made people believe that Jesus was a divine being sent by God to save them from their sins and show them the right path in a world full of misery. Jesus’ followers started preaching Christianity. They started with converting the Jews and then later the Gentiles were also allowed to convert.…

Throughout this outline it is very apparent that the book of Matthew focuses on the birth, life and death of Jesus. This story starts with the birth of Jesus, and follows with the ministry of Jesus throughout his life. “As Jesus’ ministry grows in its impact, it becomes a shared ministry; Jesus commissions and sends his first twelve to spread the good news of the kingdom, teaching, healing and driving out demons as he has done.” (Johnston, 2006, p.154) Matthew also gives us the knowledge of who Jesus is, and gives us many examples of how Jesus lived a perfect life while on earth. We learn about Jesus through his sermon on the mount, an account of many of his miracles and his constant teachings for all to hear and follow him.…

“Miracle Maker,” possibly one of the best films explaining the life of Jesus Christ. This film consisted of various stories from the Synoptic Gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Since the movie was only approximately one hour and a half; it would be impossible for the director of the film to include every story in every gospel. Instead, the director of the film had to pick some of the most significant stories from the gospels, and they also had to exclude some significant stories.…

Over many of the miracles that Jesus performs throughout His ministry on earth, I consider the miracles of Jesus walks on water as one of the "coolest" miracles that reveal the significance meaning of who Jesus is. This miracles recorded in three of the Gospels (Mat 14:22-36; Mark 6:45-56: John 6:16-21) and it was this miracle that, more than any other, "convinced Jesus's disciples that He was indded the Son of God. We could see that in the expression of the disciples in Matthew 14:32-33. In other words, this particular miracle gives the disciples a new revelation about the person of Christ compared to what they saw in the miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand, healing the sick people, or cast out demons. I believe this miracles has presented…

The New Testament identifies healing as a main function of the Christian church, whether such healing emerges in the form of miracles performed by apostles (Acts) or believers, or whether it is a task assigned to elders (James 5:13-18). Above all, however, the Gospels highlight healing, for at the core of their account of Jesus' public ministry lies his activity as healer. The Gospels, epitomise a rich resource for individuals who, in the encounter of sickness and other conditions of weakness, seek both healing and deliverance During the ministry of Jesus, he was known as the great physician and people flocked to him, drawn by the many miracles he was performing, as the gospel reports they brought to him many who were sick and he healed them.…

When choosing to approach miracles from a biblical point of view you usually acknowledge that God has created the earth and all things that live within it. They are all acts through faith and for faith, with the sole difference that they relate to varied deities,” says Saintyves in an interesting study of miracles.
