Fossils provide evidence of evolution because by showing the changes to organisms over time. Fossils are the remnants of an organism that died, they are mostly bone because flesh and skin breaks down. They can be either in the form of a mold or imprint or in a piece of amber. Each fossil is a clue to what the animal looked like millions of years ago. Fossils show how animals have evolved to better suit their habitat. The most important thing about fossils is that they give us a glimpse back in time, showing us what organisms were like. Relative dating is the process by with 2 fossils are compared against each other to figure out an approximate age. Radioactive Dating measure the breakdown of radioactive elements over time, to get reading that are more accurate. Knowing a fossil's age allows scientist to piece together what path an organism took to become what it is today. This is …show more content…
DNA´s information is stored in nitrogen bases using a combination of A T C G. DNA is inherited from parents to offspring via chromosomes. DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA is shared throughout all
living beings. Some have more nitrogen bases. Cellular DNA makes us who we are and determines our traits from our parents. All organisms share lots of the same DNA meaning that they are all related in some may.
Embryos are unborn offspring in the process of development. If you could see yourself as a embryo you would see that you have gills. But they disappear later in development. And this is the same with other animals. That means that many animals evolved from different animals. In the embryo stage whales have legs. Meaning that they evolved from an animal that walked on land. This show that evolution is
