Forrester Motivation

Jamal is a very self motivated person and shows a lot of traits throughout the movie that motivates him even more. One of the main people that motivated Jamal I believe is Forrester, even though Forrester wasn’t clearly noticed as a motivator, he motivated him to continue to do good because he knew he had it inside him. I also believe basketball was a motivation to him because he had to do good in school to continue to be on the basketball team he was on. Lastly all of the negative feedback from others were nothing but motivation to him, just because people didn’t like him or picked on him for things such as plagiarizing it never stopped him from trying hard. I believe these factors were intrinsic because they were just made naturally. They

Some of the most notable and widely discussed theories are made by Abraham Maslow, and Friedrich Nietzsche. In One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Ken Kesey explores these different motivational forces by illustrating them through the personalities of characters such as Chief and Nurse Ratched. The philosophical concepts that both characters exemplify, relate back to the idea of pursuing and achieving a goal.…

It all began when Jammal had the chance to transfer schools for better opportunities from grades to how he played on the basketball court. His old school never really thought about how different Jamal was from the others because Jamal never wanted to show how wise, or knowledgeable he was. As a community today, people are judged from where they come from and what they look like. To me, this shouldn’t matter; everyone should have the same amount of opportunities as one another. People may never know what someone is capable of if you don’t get to know who they are.…

Being in a relaxed environment and not feeling any negative emotions during work really does enhance the ability for workers to do a good job. The reason why these workers were motivated during the first summer was because Joe had a very relaxed leadership style. He understood that to have high-quality workers, they need to be happy. The motivation theory that perfectly explains this scenario is the Maslow’s Needs Hierarchy Theory (McShane, Steen, & Tasa, 2014).…

This natural drive involves the desire to be effective in whatever one strives to do. Adler’s Style of Life is the way an individual navigates one’s social map to overcome feelings of inferiority and develop superiority in a unique way.
