intelligence. Forrest Gump had a low IQ, it was 75, which is below average. Everybody always asked Forrest if he was stupid, his response was always, “Stupid is as stupid does”. This is a very strong statement to make, especially if your IQ is low. Forrest wasn’t book smart, but he was very intelligent. Forrest was always respectful to his mother, to Lieutenant Dan and to Jenny. He started a million dollar business, got the badge of honor, and lived a life that was close to God, and that is pretty intelligent. The number one influence in his life was his momma. She always spoke words of wisdom to Forrest. She pointed him in the way he needed to go. She told Forrest to never believe someone when they told him that he was stupid. Forrest did what his momma said, he lived a great life and didn’t have to worry about money anymore. On the day, Forrest’s momma died, she told Forrest her lasts words of wisdom, which was “Dying is a part of life.” He said that he wishes it wasn’t. Forrest lived his life to the fullest, Jenny thought she was, but in reality she was just messing it up. Forrest was rated the dumbest person in his class, as for Jenny she was rated one of the smartest. We can see how these tables turned, dumb people do smart things, and smart people do dumb things. Just like Forrest’s momma always said, “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get.” Forrest was very wise in how he chose to live his life, He could’ve never went to school and let people rent his house out, went down Jenny’s path, went down the redneck path or go the way he went. In the end, it all worked out for
