One point in forrest gump was forrest was named after general Nathan Bufford Forrest. Nathan Forrest was in the civil war and also was the founder of and leader of the kkk. Nathan Forrest came up with the klue klux klan (kkk), after the confederates (the south) lost the civil war.They still fought like there was a war. They use to have slaves, they didn’t like colored people. They would go out and capture colored people and would kill them. They also got in fights with the us army. The us army finally beat them and put a stop to the killing at least. There were still kkk members out there though. Another point in forrest gump is it showed forrest gump at a school where some colored kids were gonna be going in to a all white school. There
