Many living things on Earth contain these elements in order to survive. Second, life contains many cells. Our bodies are made up entirely of cells. Cells separate itself from the universe with a membrane that is semi-permeable. Cells help our bodies throughout the day. How do cells help? We use two types of energy, light and chemical. Light energy is energy from the sun. Chemical energy is energy that is stored in molecules and then released. Life depends on elements, cells, and energy in order to get on through the day. This is negative entropy, which is to acquire order. Negative entropy is the opposite of entropy, which is things not going in order. A form of negative entropy is metabolism.
