Formative Evaluation Paper

Evaluation The Sac and Fox Nation E-government program will follow a formative evaluation process. A formative evaluation is ongoing information throughout the program to seek out potential program improvements (Burke & Prater, 2000). All primary evaluation efforts are performed by the development committee and other assigned staff such as IT department and/or volunteers. Below each program stage is listed, including timelines, methods of evaluation, and tools used for the formative evaluation process. The video conferencing element will have two sessions: test and implementation. At the end of both sessions, a summative evaluation will take place to provide detailed information for program improvements and deficits. Outcomes include additional Governing Council members will be able to attend, participate, access pertinent information, and vote in the meetings, making quorums easily met and business will be conducted in a timelier manner. This will filter down to a personal impact in individual lives as the members will feel more connected to their Tribe, culture, and self-reliant by learning a new technological skill that could transfer to education and/or employment.
