From the beginning of formalized education, instructors have been looking for the most effective ways evaluated and assess learners. Different methods had been used with mixed results. As noted by Palomba & Banta (1999) “Assessment is the systematic collection, review and use of information about educational programs undertaken for the purpose of improving student learning and development”. In order to conduct an effective assessment the instructor should possess expertise in the two areas: formative and summative evaluations. The formative evaluations are conducted during the regular cycle of the class, while the summative evaluation process is part of the conclusion of the module. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of training the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation represents a useful tool to gather information about the process. As noted by McNamara (n.d), the four steps of evaluation offer an insight about the quality and effectiveness of training:
• Reaction: What is the feeling of the learner about this training?
• Learning: Facts and knowledge the learner gained as result of the activity.
• Behaviors: what type of information and skills the learner received that will make possible to transfer the knowledge to the

The questions building the test were mainly multiple choices fill in the blank, matching and true and false questions. These are examples of formative evaluation, and key components are the occurrence is frequent and provides information about student progress in a daily or weekly basis. Another assessment tool provide by the Instructor was CATs.
