The purpose of assessment for individuals impacted by domestic violence is to help the individual to help with career choices and evaluate vocational self-concept.
Formal assessment was used in a study to determine vocational needs for women dealing with domestic violence in order to determine the need for various resources (Wettersten et al., 2004).
