As the clock ticks, the teen boy waits anxiously for it to hit 3:23 P.M. All he could think about was football practice. His first game is tomorrow and he is overwhelmed with excitement. Forgetting to pay attention in class the teacher calls on the boy saying “Sabin, what does the m stand for in y=mx+b?”, Sabin being clueless he looks at his notes. Being lucky, another student answers saying “m is slope”. As the bell rings, the teacher comes up to Sabin saying “Next time pay attention instead of looking at the clock, time will pass by faster”. Sabin and his teammates changed and decided to head over to the lobby so they can wait for the busses. At the lobby Sabin meets up with his friends Brian and Alex. They were trying to go to the store to get new football gear and asked Sabin if he would like to come with them to the mall across the street from their school. Sabin responds saying “Man I wish but I have no money to buy new gear”. Brian and Alex abruptly starts laughing. Sabin being confused he says “What's so funny?”. Brian saying “We don’t have money either”. Sabin still being confused Alex says, “Haven’t you heard about how everybody has been getting their gear? They’ve been stealing it”. Sabin was in shock. He couldn’t believe that his teammates were doing this. Brian and Alex eventually convince Sabin to come with. As they walk to the mall, Sabin gets nervous asking Brian and Alex how they’re going to do it. Brian responding, “just put it in your pocket and act like nothing happened”. The walk to the mall, which usually takes 5 minutes, felt like it was taking hours to reach the store that they were intended to steal from. They finally reach the big sports store. Trying to get in and out as soon as possible they head towards the football gear. Brian and Alex seeing the gear they wanted, they instantly start stuffing their pockets with as many things possible.
