In simple fact, there are enough interesting words as well as creative phrases in this book to captivate readers. Andi’s thoughts as well as reactions are exactly how a teenage young lady would act. When undergoing a guided visualization, Andi’s initial thought is, “It’s almost like the sofa is eating me entire and I’m perfectly prepared be eaten alive with the furniture. " The descriptions in this book are very vivid. A flashback of an event from Andi’s childhood is realistically composed and heartbreaking. The long scar on her finger is a way of telling the reader about the gravity of Andi's childhood experiences.
I experienced many light-hearted feelings throughout this novel. Andi’s friends Tyler as well as Bruce pulled a Turbulent Turkey prank that was quite hilarious. When Andi’s phone rang in church during their initial prank, I could not help but laugh out loud. Andi’s funny, surreal visit accompanied by the guidance counselor is also an experience.
My criticisms are not much and it didn’t affect my overall enjoyment of the story.I would have preferred it if Andi's father was mentioned frequently since she was not happy with her mother. There was also a part about Judge Judy that took too much time. Other than that, the story moved well with a good
