The movie begins at the Forest Ridge Mall, where Ronnie, the head of security, guards his authority with an iron fist, fighting skateboarders and at times the unmanageable customers and dreams of the time when he can exchange his flashlight with a badge or gun. His dreams of glory are tested when a mall is afflicted by a flasher. In order to protect the mall and its people, Ronnie uses the opportunity to show all the people what he can do. He hopes to bring a solution to this crime and earn a place in the police academy. This will make him win the heart of his dream girl Brandi, who doesn’t give her time to him. But his dream of grandeur initiates a war with Detective Harrison of the Conway police, and Ronnie is presented with a challenge to
