Foreshadowing And Plot Twist

Foreshadowing is when the author gives the reader small hints to what is going to happen later on in the story.
Foreshadowing is often linked to plot twist , because an author could use foreshadowing to give a hint to a plot twist.
Hints can be large and repeated multiply times.
Sometimes this can be a bad thing, because if the hints are to easy to find it makes the plot twists less enjoyable.
It can be more fun to look for small hints so that the reader feels only they know the big twist.
Todd gets a sense that the old mayor maybe reading his noise, but dismisses this as paranoia.
However, the reader will most likely won't dismiss this and take it as a hint to not trust the old mayor.
The reader can tell that the old mayor is up to something,
