Forensic Social Work Case Study

Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to summarize the key findings of what I have learned this semester from taking this course. The key findings that I have learned this semester, diverse roles of a forensic social worker, forensic social work related to child welfare, and the role of a social worker working with juveniles and other populations. Forensic social work was established to respond to individuals in the criminal justice system, and to help individuals find themselves. While taking this course, social work practice includes legal issues both civil and criminal. List of Key Insights
The first keep finding that I will discuss will be the diverse roles that social workers play. Social workers play many roles from advocate, counselors, case workers, educator, and etc. The advocate role, where the social worker help fight for the rights of others. Advocacy can be at the state or local level, most social workers are involved in the international human rights (School of social work, n.d.). The case worker role , they will help assist individuals with different services that are free that will help the parent or the child find a stable living environment . In our society social workers help change the policy regarding young individuals charged with criminal offences, from juveniles being incarcerated with adults( book cite 2 ).
