Throughout the course of American history, foreign policy has constantly been changing. With new threats arising just about every day, the President of the United States must protect the country in every such way possible. While the Americans wanted to be neutral during World War II, these efforts were unsuccessful due to the events occurring at Pearl Harbor; due to cause and effect of the Holocaust, the United States adopted a different foreign policy in which they became one of the founding members of the United Nations.
