This means that by speaking a second language, you will be a more valuable employee and are therefore eligible for better pay. Employees that know a foreign language can have higher wages by 10 or 15%, which although it sounds little, this can help you in the long run. For example, by earning an extra 20% of wages for 5 years, you will accumulate to an additional 100% of income, which means that you are essentially earning the equivalent to another working year. Let 's put this into a teenage perspective. As teens, we are always out of money because most of us don’t have a job. Getting additional income means you could buy that pair of shoes you’ve been saving up for, or even a new playstation. If you can speak another language, even more job opportunities can open up. As well as improving your employability, learning a foreign language is also proven to make you smarter and improve decision making skills, and who doesn’t want to be
