The issue surrounding the companies was their products that did not meet the ethical and legal standards. In Ford Pinto case, the company came up with a model vehicle to compete with the Japanese, which dominated the car sale segment. Ford Pinto was invented with its price and delivery low and faster respectively. The car was associated with explosive problems. A problem was detected in the car tank in which the tank was spilling the fuel. This increased the case of fire in the cases of accidents. Since the company’s target was to get out their products as fast as possible, they made a benefit analysis suggesting that damages would cost less than the repair. This means that, even though the company was aware of the complications, they ignored it and many people died.

Moreover, it has also caused an estimated death of 27 people due to its explosive nature. Therefore, the burning of the vehicle manufacturing could have been the best solution. On the same note, the Tylenol’s case could have also been given warning and inspections besides compensations o the damages to avoid further damages.
