There is a car that surpassed all others in its time, that car was the Ford Mustang. MyClassicGarage.com states that is was the most popular car of the 1960’s. Because of this, the Mustang created a class of its own. It was dubbed a “pony car” because it cost less and was more compact rather than most coupes (MyClassicGarage.com). Everyone from the 1960’s to today still fancy this affordable and reliable car because the people who designed the car, John Najjar and Philip T. Clark, made it trustworthy and efficient.
