With the introduction of the Model T in 1908, Ford succeeded in his mission to produce an affordable, efficient and reliable automobile for everyone: within a decade, nearly half the cars in America were Model Ts (Ford Motor Company Incorporated). Ford Motors manufactures some of the most popular vehicles in the world that are safe and conveniently built. From the beginning Ford Motors have led the way in the automotive industry. This program will be created for the sole purpose of increasing productivity with the improvement of worker performance. This program would be implemented at all levels in Ford Motors Company to ensure that all employees are given the opportunity to get involved. For this program to be successful in the company everyone must be in agreement that the company would definitely benefit from it. One of the goals of this program is to increase productive in all workers involved in the Ford Motors Mentorship Program. Leaders will need to support this program from the very inception; the leaders backing will make the programs success more realistic and attainable. Don’t begin a mentoring program, whether manually administrated or e-enabled, until you have not only senior executive support from the CEO or COO and a number of senior business executives, but also a commitment from senior leadership to participate and encourage their managers to mentor (Schooley, 2010). The briefing to the leaders should focus on how the company would benefit from mentorship, using projected spike in the profits as a selling point. An increase in sells would also be a major talking point, also mentioning how the product would also improve in quality. The leader is the instrumental link to the organizational mission and goals and frontline teamwork (DuBois, Hanlon, Nyatuga & Kerr, 2015). The leadership would understand that establishing a mentorship program at Ford Motors would be a win-win situation. Ford Motors’ have transformational leaders who influence their colleagues and workers to do what needs to be done to improve the team and organization. A transformational leader is one that "transforms" the workplace by inspiring and developing others, and motivating teams and individuals to achieve high levels of performance (DuBois, Hanlon, Nyatuga & Kerr,
