In today’s market, most of consumers are persuaded to purchase goods by different means of advertisement such as poster, billboards and commercials. One of the many products advertised in commercials are cars and trucks ranging from different manufacturers such as Ford, Chevrolet, Lincoln and Dodge. Every commercial is unique in a way inn how they are produced and who the intended audience is. A good example is the Ford F-150 and the Lincoln MKX television advertisements.
One difference is the location of the vehicle in the commercial. Ford, known for work trucks, has the F-150 in a test facility at first to “explain” the durability of the truck then showing the durability and toughness later by showing clips of the truck hauling loads and driving in rugged terrains that make the F-150 seem military grade. Unlike the F-150, the Lincoln MKX is shown in an urban and high end suburb setting showing its purpose for being a street vehicle rather than an all terrain. Its location also imply or at least

The MKX and F-150 both have similar price range of between twenty-eight thousand and fifty-five thousand eliminating a contrast in the type of income classes that purchase vehicles. Although the two vehicles do differentiate in the types of lifestyle a person wants. The F-150 attracts people who want a sturdy vehicle for either labor related tasks or recreational outdoors men. The MKX attracts people who live in urban areas, want to look sophisticated, and prefer aesthetics over performance such as business workers or studio designer.
Both vehicles the Ford F-150 and Lincoln MKX look like stupendous vehicles that are equally attractive in their own ways. Some may prefer a vehicle over the other and that is fine because neither car is perfect for everyone.
