Not only to colour the background of our characters and contextualise who they are - but to set the scene in our Nordic lands, highlight the beauty of nature and again to reiterate the importance of saving our planet from a dismal future. We need these locations not only image wise, but also to create the sense of journey.
Everything from the coffee shops we use - you know those great modern places with their cool Scandinavian design - to the epic landscapes shots of pine forests and mountain ranges to catapult or viewer into our other world with visuals full of volcanoes, and fjords and natural peculiarities to communicate the idea of how one persons story is in someway connected to something great - in an epic way.
