Narrative Essay About Forbidden Love

Decent Essays
Forbidden Love I never thought in a million years that I would fall in love with a woman; a married one that is. It wasn’t an intentional feeling, it just happened. I really don’t know if my feelings for her were ever really worth it, or was it?
The summer of 1946 came fast and it had been almost a year since the Second World War. Everyone seemed happy and things seemed to normalize again slowly. My family had been preparing for my fourteenth birthday on our small farm near the bayou of Louisiana. It was also the summer before my freshman year of high school and I wasn’t at all excited about it. I was a peculiar young girl, curious in the sense. The bayou was my favorite place to go for all my pleasures and needs; to write, to play and sometimes

Yes I’m very happy Mrs. Fürst”
As my parents and the other neighbors began conversation with the new neighbors I continued on with celebration amongst my friends.
The party came to an end as dusk approached and I went to my room and began to day dream about this woman. I just couldn’t get her out of my mind.
The whole summer I was preparing for high school and spending time at the bayou before it was time for me to finally “grow up” as Eva would say. She said that would be the years where a man would take my virginity and make me a woman. I didn’t really understand that or know if I was ready for it either. All mind could do was reflect new couple in town and how everyone made such a big deal about them. I really didn’t get to see them that much and it made me wonder, who are these

Fürst to the bayou and we talked. As she talked I saw her mouth moving, but I couldn’t hear a word. I just gazed into her beautiful eyes. As she got close to give me a hug, I closed my eyes and kissed her. Stunned, Mrs. Fürst just looked at me. I was even more stunned, not because I just kissed my teacher, but that she actually kissed me back and put my hand on her chest. I felt good and bad all at the same time. I heard the crickets of the night chirping and I sound of footsteps running away. We both jumped and Mrs. Fürst jumped up and ran away. I had no idea what I had just got myself into, but it was just the beginning. The next day at school I felt so awkward and wanted to apologize after class and I did. Mrs. Fürst wasn’t mad at all and then invited me to her home later because her husband was going to be out of town. Later that night I showed up and Mrs. Fürst took me to her bedroom and I told her how I really felt about her. She felt the same way mutually and that’s when I love affair all started. She made me feel like she made love to me and it was a feeling I couldn’t describe. We spent a lot of time together and on our last rendezvous it was in fact the end. I was invited over once again one late night and I snuck out through my bedroom window. As we engaged like many times before this night was different. Her husband came home early from a business trip and opened the door to discover us together. He said that he knew what has been taking

She was one of the girliest girls I knew since grade school, with her stylish culottes and pink garments of all different shades for all different occasions. She was the epitome of a mixture between pure innocence and quirk that boldly took her rightful place in the middle of my heart. Mary Anne wasn’t just all of that; she was also my affectionate girlfriend, my warm-hearted best friend who I could talk about anything with, from the most trivial things to the very meaning of our whole existence. We had our entire happiness in the future planned out, a dream wedding and all, but maybe that was the reason why I wouldn’t have ever imagined that I would be feeling so lost and empty just a few years later, alone and missing a part of myself.…

College Essay Being raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin as a poor family was not only tough for me, but tough on my parents knowing how hard it was to raise a child with no money and a 9-5 Job. Living in Wisconsin as an 8 year old boy was tough, not only was it freezing cold everyday, but all the other children would make fun of me because I didn’t have the highest fashion of clothing or the newest shoes. At the time I would come home upset everyday because I knew I couldn’t dress as nice or be as good as any of the other kids, and being at home wasn’t any better. I would wake up in the middle of the night every night, there were so many shots the neighbor looked at the calendar because they thought it was Fourth of July. My family lived in a small apartment complex right outside of town, the area was known for crime, murders, and excessive break ins.…
