Forbidden Island Research Paper

I have always had a desire to explore true treasures, and valued playing treasure games, a game in which each person or team struggles to be first in discovering something that has been hidden. Once I am not being able to physically hunt for treasure, it is always fun to play a game instead and let the imagination guide me. Since I play lots of games, I have discovered there are certain delightful treasures to be found by playing them. The gathering of colleagues, family or friends is the best part of it. One of my most recent discovered games that I have played and enjoyed was called Forbidden Island. It is a true team working experience. The members all win together, or they all lose together. He was directing the play of everyone else. In the beginning, the individual players permitted this guidance. Yet, the man who explained the rules and decided the play constantly intervened with his leadership, once questions ascended or a tone of confusion flooded the table. Finally, when the majority of us grasped the rules, every one of us assumed responsibility for our turn and the game progressed reasonably well. It was captivating to see how well that individual played when someone needed help. Such cooperation was momentous in the game atmosphere. And finally, the man shared a common sequence of cooperation in order to win the game and positioned him self in favor of the group dynamic of mutually shared cooperation among all. It was delightful to observe our members showed each individual player how to move toward the helicopter in order to fly off the island. The game was won the second time and smiles were shared among the members. I admired our team members and the cooperation among us as well as the group dynamic that was re-created and could see how much fun the group experienced. It was also confirmed to my self that I always show self-discipline and desire for achievement in the group
