First of all, the rules in basketball are easy to explain. In basketball, players basically can’t make much contact with players on the opposite team, they can’t reach for the ball, they can’t push, they have to dribble the whole time, and depending on the situation, a player may have a time limit with the ball. That is basically it. In football, a player must understand how to gain or lose yards, what offside is, how a fumble works, which direction to pass it, know what kneeling on one knee is, and understand what first, second, third, and fourth down is.
