Football Team Observation Paper

The sophomore and freshman classes are neutral and would choose any grade. On day one of my research, all grades of the football team seemed to be able to tolerate each other, but it was Monday. They were all getting along in the halls and messing around with each other. The freshman were trying to get attention by being extra outgoing, the older grades just ignored it and did not react in a negative or positive way. On the second day, the senior and junior classes would talk to each other but the senior class would ignore the sophomore and freshman classes completely, unless asked a specific question. The freshman did not want the attention of any other grades, for once they were not obnoxious. On Thursday, everyone seemed to be annoyed with everyone. Every grade is arguing with each other. There is also another volleyball game on this night and the football team was required to go watch the game together as a team and support volleyball. They did not sit together at the game like they did on Tuesday, they sat by friend group. The seniors and juniors were annoyed when the freshman asked for rides home halfway through the volleyball game and were even more upset when the coaches specifically asked the seniors to offer rides home. The last day of my research was Friday and the boys had a football game. They all were acting as one family and getting along. They were all talking about the game that was going to take place later that day and how they thought the outcome was going to end

“Senior Picture Day” is a classic story about the biases and bullying children and teenagers encounter as they contend with peer pressure and self-esteem. Kids can be cruel as they fight to feel accepted, liked, and find their self-worth. Children and teenagers who struggle with family issues or possess certain physical features may find it more difficult to fit in with the crowd and overcome peer pressures. Society often stereotypes some ethnicities as poor, less intelligent, and less appealing. People in these ethnicities may struggle with acceptance as much as someone who is overweight or appears less attractive.…
