God has blessed Dallas Christian with a fabulous campus that we proudly call home. Our facilities have served thousands of students for over six decades. Because of the faithful stewardship by so many previous generations, we are able to enjoy a sprawling seventy acre campus with over 15 buildings most of which date back to the 1960s.

Our aging campus now gives us an opportunity to begin casting an exciting vision for new facilities that will further our mission for another six decades. This new vision is our way to carry forward a rich heritage for the next generation of Dallas Christian students and families. We believe it is now “Our Turn” to dream and sacrifice together and make this vision a reality.

This complex will be the future home of our football, baseball, and track & field facilities with concession and restroom amenities. We believe this opportunity will enhance our athletic programs and also increase our community awareness with great visibility and access on Interstate 30.

This opportunity comes at an ideal time since our current football stadium is in need of significant renovations. We also see great benefit for our track & field teams to finally have their very own track. This entire facility will allow us to host track & field events and provide a walking surface for Dallas Christian patrons.

A modern playscape will provide our elementary students with a safe and energizing outdoor area. We know that outdoor activity is central to the educational experience for our younger students. They will be able to continue making long lasting memories and relationships with their friends while playing together.

Our goal is to complete this initial phase one of our campus Master Plan within 18-20 months for the opening of the 2017/18 school year. We have already begun preliminary due diligence for the design and engineering of the athletic complex and plan to proceed with construction as soon as funds are

David Pryor knew he was beat. He knew it from the start, but he spoke from his heart, picked up support from Cliff Gibson, but they went down strongly but quietly Thursday as the University of Arkansas board of trustees voted 8-2 for a $160 million expansion to Reynolds Razorback Stadium. It wasn't denied the project most likely will be more in the neighborhood of $200 million when completed. Before doing the math, which shows that is more than $60,000 for each of the proposed 3,000-plus additional seats -- all in luxury suites most of us will only see through binoculars -- understand a big part of that money is for the new athletic facility that will have underground parking so, as one former trustee said, it will keep the administration from…

When I view the world around me, I see darkness. I see broken people with hurting hearts hurting others. What I also see are Christians. Christians everywhere who are doing nothing to love and help the pained individuals surrounding them, while doing everything to promote prosperity in their own lives. Of course, not every Christian is like that, as I am not one of those Christians.…

Based on the presumption that the team will be a summer league ball club, and a member of a conference like the Coastal Plain League, the “Cape Fear Shiners” would be located in the middle of two current eastern conference members, the Holly Springs Salamanders and the Fayetteville Swampdogs. This optimal location makes for the perfect stop, here at Jim Perry Stadium for interleague play. Having a team in this competitive league could be the first step to potentially bringing a minor league team to one of the fastest growing counties in the state.…
