We all came in pretty quiet and focused ready for our game that day. As coaches strolled into the room, we all locked in waiting for them to say something. Our head coach motivated us and spoke to us mentioning respect. He made remarks about our low rank in the conference and the lack of respect teams had for us as a team and a brotherhood. The words I won 't forget that coach Ross said were this, “if people aren 't giving you respect you have to go out and take it.” Loud roars and cheers from my teammates filled the room. I suppose the sense of not knowing or experiencing anything like that level before scared me a little. My fear did not overwhelm me. I quickly started to preparing for the game.
