How To Write A Narrative Essay About My First Experience In Football

I was a freshman in high school and it was the start of the football season. In my mind, my expectations for this season were not high. I was expecting to play freshman ball, but I was to be proven wrong. The coach called a run play, and in my head it did not make any sense, so I changed the play to a pass play. The coaches were surprised and a little bit mad that I changed the play call. Coach Puglio said, “That takes guts kid, I like that in you.” That comment to me made my day and change my life forever. Later in the month of August, we learned that there will no longer be a freshman football team. The freshman team was bumped up to Varsity and Junior Varsity. I had no clue I was going to end up starting a varsity game. We had a couple of weeks before our first game and I was going to start

I was nervous because the game and the season was literally in my hands. I had the ball in my hands and Logan came open on the slant so I fired it in there and it sailed off his fingertips. The…
