Football is a sport that thousands of Americans watch, play, or following it in other ways. With so many people playing Football there has been a few variations of the game. The most none and wildly played is the original “tackle football” that you see all over ESP and in high schools. there is also Two hand touch football. This is usually found in grade schools and pick-up games as a little kid. These two types of football have a few similarities but many differences like, how the offense can run, the type of players there are, and how plays are ended. Of course, the general goal of the games will stay the same. For example, they both have one team, on offense, trying to pass or run the ball to score a touchdown, and the other team, on defense, doing everything in their power to stop the offense from scoring. Another similarity is the offense only has four downs to get ten yards before they get a first down, however; this is where a lot of the similarities end. First, in two hand football there is a problem when it comes two running the ball on offense. If the running back gets touched twice he is down, no matter what. In two hand touch a team on offense usually consists of a quarterback, wide receivers, running back, and maybe a center two snap the ball. On defense a team has corners, safeties, and maybe a linebacker and defensive lineman. However, in tackle football a team an offensive team is made of five offensive linemen, a quarterback, two or three wide receivers, a running back, and a fullback. A defensive team also has more players like three or four defensive linemen, three linebackers, two corners, and two safeties.
