Characters: Russell - very careless, funny, normally energetic, is mean to most people except his close friends

Markus - Boastful, and sometimes speaks very monotone to be funny/ or sarcastic Darnell- Group friend leader, always funny, great athlete, not smart, give good advice to Russell
Setting: Location: During lunch, it’s a short day, this is near the outside table benches,
At Rise: At rise Russell is sitting at the school bench, thinking about how he’s going to be able to get out of the house this summer. Darnell and Markus are and happy about the school year ending. Russell, The main character is worried that he is not going to be able to hang out with his friends because his foster mom doesn 't give him much

Russell
[stands up and yells at foster mom]
“I didn 't even do anything. I dont know why you dont like me. I should live somewhere else.(sits back down) Hater.”

Foster Mom
[Turns around from stove, ]
“Who you think you talking to? Nobody would want you anyway. worst foster child ever. The only thing you good for is eating and sleeping and being lazy. Punk”(turns back to stove)

Russell
“Whatever, wait till I let my social worker hear this recording calling me an ungrateful !#%@!! haha caught you up.!!!”
Foster Mom
“Now listen here, (turns around from stove to talk to Russell) Why you gotta be a little snitch. Delete that and I will let you hang out with your friends this summer.”

Russell
“You promise? because you have said stuff like that before? telling me lies so I don 't tell to my social worker.”

Foster Mom
[optional: stage directions] “Yes, I promise. and no I don 't make false promises Now what do you want for lunch we can go out too. In and Out, or Burger King?”

Russell
[Gets and excited]
“In and Out please, and can we get some ice cream on the way back
