Foodborne Illness Outbreak: A Case Study

Most organizations want to grow both internally and externally. Internal growth strategies may involve production and revenue increases and expansion of employees, whereas external growth strategies may form together with another organization or even acquire a new one (Crandall, Parnell, & Spillan, 2013). As more concerns with government regulations, more competitors, new technology advances, and constant change occurs, some organizations may occur a crisis if they follow a specific growth strategy (Kotter & Schlesinger, 2008). To avoid a crisis from occurring, an organization needs to consider a growth strategy that appeals to everyone that is involved, from the employees to the customers.
