The way the “Zero Waste” concept fits in with reduction of food waste and the packaging waste is both are about reducing waste but completely reducing it, both ultimately trying to achieve the same goal using the same techniques. The concept of sustainability has to do with the economy, environment, and the society as well. These three parts directly deal with how we sustain our resources. That is just a general way to define sustainability, to be more specific this is dealing with the resources we use while producing food waste. In this case we must discuss sustaining those resources on a nationwide scale. In chapter 4 of our e-text the definition of sustainable development as developing and achieving the needs of the current population without risking or putting resources of generations to come in harms way. With this being a countrywide issue, the rapid growing population is concerning as well.
