Food safety, what is food safety? Many people do not question or have a second thought on how their food is prepared and how sanitary it is. In 1905 a novel was released named The Jungle; the book released the sensitive conditions of the meat industry. For example the book stated “... there would be meat that had been tumbled on the floor.” I could not believe the conditions after The Jungle was released. Although the FDA was created as a result of all the information being released, what does that change? Although residential areas were created and more towns do to deforestation; also animal agriculture grew. The more land there was lead to more factory farming and higher production of animal products, progression started to grow as new technology developed. For example in “The American Forest” it states “... he(God) can not save them(trees) from fools- only Uncle Sam can do that.” Also in the picture of the map of the U.S. in 1920 depicts how much the state's ruined the environment; with selfishness set in mind and the environment as just a small thought that occurred but did not marinate. With $300,000 I could make an impact to save more land to create national parks and prevent more factory farms from developing which will benefit the future health of future
