Hi Rupinder,

Thank you for this great presentation on food safety and health. Like Charina stated, food safety is very important in the prevention of food-borne diseases and illnesses among all communities. I always make sure I wash my hands very thoroughly before I start preparing my food. We will never know how our food was handled before being displayed at the grocery store to purchase, so it is very important that we wash raw foods well before cooking. Thanks for sharing the use of a thermometer to measure the internal temperature of cooked foods, especially if it is a meat dish to ensure it is adequately cooked and safe to eat. If I ever question an ingredient in any way, I have made it a habit to toss it then risk the chance of getting
