This report gives insight into the many issues with the Brazos Church Pantry website that were found through the usability study. At the beginning of this study my colleagues and I sat down and looked at the website and found a few issues with the website just . Later on we conducted a usability test where we had several students from Texas A&M sit down and look at the website while answering open-ended questions and got their opinion of the website. We later collected the data from the test and came up with what we believed were the most important issues the website has and provided recommendations for it. The Atlanta food bank is an organization that provides food and other critical resources for low-income Georgians who suffer from hunger and food insecurity. To begin, in my community I have come to respect those who help others in food pantries and in special needs schools through personal experience. One day my mom and I took a new route to my grandparents house and we came across the RCS Food Pantry. The next day we pulled up and talked to this sweet lady and she said that we could help package food for the homeless, so every Monday we would go and help out, it was a touching experience to see the look the homeless gave us when we gave them the food. To assist is to help someone with money, resources, or information. The food pantry has allowed me to assist impecunious people who may not be as blessed as me. The food pantry broadened my mind as I was able to connect with people who came, and earn a new understanding of the benefits that people can gain from serving their community.
