Community service is a wonderful thing, and helps the people who need it. There are many different ways to contribute through community service. One could work in a food pantry, pick up trash, help kids in a hospital, or read to preschool kids. If i were to devote one year to community service, I would work in a food pantry or food bank. First, the food pantry helps people receive something they need. Everyone needs food, but not everyone is as blessed as myself to be able to eat healthy and well every day. The pantry is really good at helping people who need the food. The food pantry helps the people who can not purchase food for themselves without it putting them in a financial hardship.
